SCORING
Below you will find the scoring breakdown used for this event. I'm putting it out there so there should be no confusion, and any questions one may have can be presented in a timely manner.
Team proceedure (3 car teams): Each car will be scored unto itself, whether all entered by one person, two people or three people. A cumulative score will be prodcued by adding the three cars together, subsequently naming the 'winning team.'
Single car full size, enduro, truck and compact proceedure: Each car will be scored unto itself, whether it is a solo or group build, and scored with the procees listed below. Furthermore, At events with 'team divisions' solo classes do not count toward team scoring unless otherwise noted. However, there is consideration given in 'creativity' and 'presentation' categories if the cars and trucks match a 'team' theme shared by the team entries.
While most categories end with 1 as lowest, it is doubtful yet still within reason that 0 points could be awarded in a given category. A 'Zero' total could be given if the car does not comply with the aforementioned rules in a given field.

TRACK CONDITIONS
For those of you looking for direction in the mud category, here's a few tips to help you pinpoint the mud details...
Track: Feature-type Wetness (mid-dryness to tacky; good rooster tails, fast drying and gritty particles versus soupy mud). It would be a gritty clay-based surface with a small amount of stonedust (Black Beauty-type cinder) mixed in.
When wet, the clay is a distinct brown shade with bright crimson undertones.
When dry, the clay turns ashy; a light tan with flecks of black and gray from the stone dust.
The clay in the feature would stick to the cars in a thin gritty spray, but only cars stuck on barriers or other cars while spinning their wheels would have thick clumps hanging from common spray areas (front/back of the drive wheels).
Tip: A light dusting of regular brown with a very light coat of flat black replicates this well if you are lookign for a 'wet look.' Hold the flat black 8-12 inches away and let the pigment fall on the car versus spraying it... It gives a more random look of the stonedust

JUDGES
Right now, I have recruited two regular derby runners from New York to judge this event. They will be following the above score sheet. I will not be judging at this point, nor do I intend to build (just seems like the right thing to do right now).
Paul S. is a regular runner here in Seneca County, NY and has been derbying for more than 20 years. Brian T. is a past Seneca County Champion, huge mopar fanatic, regular top-fiver in Waterloo and has also won in Brewerton, NY and has qualified for the New York State Fair Championship.
Judges assigned to the class will judge all cars in that class; the same eyes, the same standards... hope to keep a subjective project as even-keeled as possible.
I have another two/three people in the wings to jump in and help judge other classes (compacts, trucks, enduros) and they are in agreement with the above scoring process.
Intentions are to spread out the judging among other third-party folks to move it along and get your results up faster
